The service provides assessment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) for children aged 6 to 16 years.
Referrals are primarily received through a special educational needs and disabilities coordinator (SENDCO), then they are screened and triaged by an ADHD nurse.
If accepted, the child will be given an initial assessment appointment with the Community Paediatric Team, Healthy Young Minds or an ADHD nurse.
