We are a nurse-led service providing assessment and management of patients with wounds on the lower leg.
The team can offer support and advice to patients, carers and health care professionals on complex wound management, techniques and treatment plans.
We provide assessment and management of patients with wounds on the lower leg that have been present for more than 4 weeks, and some patients with additional lower limb problems as per referral criteria.

Holistic assessments are carried out by nurses to identify the cause(s) of ulcers and draw up an appropriate treatment plan.
