We support women and their families both antenatally (before birth) and postnatally (after the baby is born) who want to breastfeed.
We support parents with infant feeding in the antenatal and postnatal period striving for early intervention in order to support in achieving their personal feeding goals.
Our team is made up of an infant feeding coordinator/lactation consultant and breastfeeding support worker.
We offer support via, phone support, home visits, drop -in sessions and educational workshops (coming soon).
Please contact us for more information regarding our weekly drop- in sessions.
If you’d like to plan ahead, you are welcome to attend our breastfeeding drop-ins before your baby is born or contact us for a home visit. We can provide you with lots of information and support around breastfeeding and help you deal with any issues. The drop -in sessions are also a great opportunity to meet other mums in a comfortable and supportive environment.
We also have a breastfeeding peer support WhatsApp group which is a great resource of support and information after your baby is born.
The service operates Tuesday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm.
