The Trafford Local Care Organisation NHS School Heath Immunisation Team who have been delivering COVID-19 vaccinations in schools across Trafford over the last few weeks have organised a weekend vaccination clinic at Trafford General Hospital on 4th and 5th of December for 12-15 year olds.
This is a clinic you have to book an appointment for in advance using the link below. It is for any 12-15 year old eligible for the COVID vaccination who missed their vaccination at school, or who did not provide consent at the time of the visit to school.
Eligibility
These clinics are for 12-15 year olds only. Please be aware of the recent Joint Committee for Vaccination and Immunisations (JCVI) changes to the criteria for 12-15 year olds having the vaccine if they have recently had a confirmed case of COVID-19. Under the new national guidance issued last week, under 18s have now been advised to wait for 12 weeks following a confirmed case of COVID-19 before receiving their vaccination.
This means that we are not be able to vaccinate children who have had COVID within the last 12 weeks (roughly since the return to school after the summer holidays) at these clinics. However, after that 12 week period children can still book a vaccination locally using the National Booking Service through the nhs.uk website.

Appointment slots are available from 9.30 – 4.00 on the Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December. The clinic will be located in the:

There is parking on site at the hospital. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at the session but only one parent/guardian should attend. Parental consent will be required on the day at the clinic.
