Congratulations to our team members of the Central District Nursing Service as they’ve recently been awarded Gold as part of the Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT) accreditation process.
The process is an assurance mechanism for ensuring high-quality care and the best patient experience, which is underpinned by the Trust’s Values and Behaviours Framework and the Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Healthcare Professionals’ Strategy. It involves reviewing a series of defined standards and metrics within services, teams, wards and departments that are then either awarded bronze, silver, or gold.
Lorraine Ganley, LCO Director of Nursing and Professional Lead, said:
“This is a fantastic result for our District Nursing Service. You’ve certainly demonstrated excellent patient care and compassion for those you support and are continuously developing all the time. Great work and fully deserved!”
Suzanne Leonard, Community Matron, said:
