Trafford WorkWell is up and running, with its first key worker in place in Partington.
Leanne, from WorkWell, is able to work with any local people who have recently become unemployed, or is at risk of losing their job, due to ill health.
The aim of the Government scheme, involving the Council and the NHS, is to keep people in work. All local authority areas in Greater Manchester are on board.
The approach in Trafford is to employ a key worker in each of the six hubs to work with local people who can self-refer for eight weeks of support.
