Come and meet the Trafford Tobacco Alliance

The Trafford Tobacco Alliance is a partnership of local organisations working together to reduce smoking rates, improve public health, and support residents to quit.

The group meets regularly to coordinate stop smoking efforts across the borough.

For its next meeting on Thursday 17 July, the Alliance is doing things a little differently – and you’re invited to come along and say hello.

Anyone interested in learning more about the work of the Alliance, or who would like to get involved, is welcome to join the hybrid session from 2pm to 4pm. Simply fill in the brief sign-up form here to receive the calendar invite – whether joining online or at Trafford Town Hall in Meeting Room 6.

This open invitation is for Council staff, partner organisations, and volunteers who want to understand more about the support available to residents starting their stop-smoking journey.

It’s also a great opportunity for colleagues and partners to showcase their services, highlight how they contribute to the smoke-free agenda, raise awareness, and share upcoming plans.

Attendees are welcome to give a short presentation (2–4 minutes) about their service. You’re encouraged to bring along any photos, posters, case studies, or referral information that could support understanding and engagement.

If you’d like to present, please contact Ramya Kottapalli at ramya.kottapalli@trafford.gov.uk

The session will be recorded and shared with partners to help raise awareness and boost referrals even further

If you just want to drop in and find out more, you’ll be very welcome.
