Trafford Staff Recognised at Greater Manchester Public Health Awards

Congratulations to four Trafford Public Health colleagues who were recognised at the Greater Manchester Public Health Network (GMPHN) Awards this month for their outstanding contribution to improving health and wellbeing across our communities.

Fiona Hill received the Rising Star Award for her work in mental health and suicide prevention. Meanwhile, Anna Anobile, Infection Prevention and Control Matron, and Rachael Vaughan, Infant Feeding Coordinator, were both highly commended in the Public Health Excellence category. Susannah Martin, Specialist Homeless Health Visitor, was also highly commended, receiving recognition in the Unsung Hero category.

The awards are organised by the Greater Manchester Public Health Network, which brings together public health leaders and professionals from across the region to improve health outcomes for the 2.8 million people who live in Greater Manchester. The network works collaboratively across local authorities, the NHS and other partners to address health inequalities and support healthier communities.

These achievements reflect the commitment and professionalism that our Trafford Public Health colleagues bring to their roles every day, and highlight the impact the are making locally and across the wider public health system.

Congratulations to Fiona, Anna, Rachael and Susannah on their well-deserved recognition.
